Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Camila Morrone decided to apply a bit of benevolence to her self-quarantine by taking a dog in need under her wing.
‘Fostering a puppy during this quarantine time has been the single best decision,’ captioned the 22-year-old model in a post shared to her 2.1million Instagram followers on Thursday.
Attached to her sincere script was a black-and-white portrait of herself and her foster pup engaging in a nose-to-nose cuddle session.
Camila rocked a noticeably makeup-free face for the snapshot, while her brunette tresses remained tucked up into a tousled bun.
After reflecting on her personal experience with fostering, Camila made sure to urge her ‘friends’ to get on the bandwagon and make the most of their idle time amid the coronavirus pandemic.
‘For all my friends showing interest in doing this, DO IT. You won’t regret it,’ insisted the Death Wish star.
She concluded her well intentioned post by bringing home the point that ‘these sweet
creatures’ in shelters ‘need you so badly.’
Though the brunette beauty did not reveal the face of her foster fur baby until Thursday, she actually informed followers of her decision to foster on Monday.
The news was announced within the caption of a video post where Morrone, sitting in her lavish bathroom with guitar in hand, attempted an acoustic rendition of Lana Del Rey’s moody tune Blue Jeans.
‘Today I: fostered a puppy who needed a home (anyone who is able to do this, should!!),’ began the Mickey and the Bear actress, who could be seen donning a clay face mask in the 15-second clip.
‘...semi-learned new guitar chords off YouTube (i’m a beginner peeps), and did a face mask. And thissss here...is day 5 of quarantine my friends.’
She lightly strummed on her guitar and only gave her fans a small taste of her vocal abilities before the footage came to an abrupt end.
Camila has been dating her Academy Award winning beau since the rear end of 2017 after meeting at an event in South Beach, Florida.
But the couple would not make their first red carpet debut until this year’s Academy Award ceremony in Los Angeles, where they were photographed by a sea of eager photographers.
Leonardo has received a plethora of scrutiny for dating the young model, whom he has a 23-year age gap with.
Camila and Leo appear to be taking ‘social distancing’ very seriously, since they have not been photographed out and about since March 4.
