Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urging him arrange for airlifting the indians  stranded in wuhan province of china, which is the epicentre of coronavirus. the CM appealed to PM Modi to evacute india nations from the city as the ground situation has further worsened.

In the letter to PM M odi, Pinarayi Vijayan said since the situation in Wuhan was grave ,it would be appropriate to operate a special flight to wuhan or a nearby functional airport and airlift indian nationals stranded there.

Pinarayi Vijayan also wanted the prime minster to give neccessary instruction to the insian Embassy in China to act pro-actively and provide necessary assistance and reassurance to indians, including keralites, stranded in wuhan and yichang
